To everyone’s surprise, Greg announced that there would be no official winner this year. Instead, the town collectively won the joy of coming together. “The prize,” he declared, “is the love and laughter we’ve shared.”
That night, Pineville celebrated Christmas in true harmony, with carols, laughter, and a special dinner at the church featuring turkey, fresh vegetables, and, of course, hot cocoa from the “holy hydration” fountain.
And as Greg watched the happy people around him, he realized that sometimes, the best way to win is not to compete but to inspire.
